When experiential marketing agency Mirrorball needed a fully functional, transportable beauty salon in just two weeks for their client L’Oreal, Aardvark put on its game face.
Working with Mirrorball’s production team, we fabricated an elegant exhibit that would look right at home at Neiman Marcus. The shipping container featured $10,000 custom mirrors, hair washing stations with hot and cold water, luxurious back-lit display cases, and lighting with the proper color temperature to flatter every face. We even installed a hydraulic system to move the exhibit off the truck and onto the ground quickly and safely.
In addition to transporting the salon from event to event, our Tour Managers oversaw setup (mostly overnight) allowing the Mirrorball and L’Oreal event teams to get a good night’s sleep. Meanwhile, our Program Management team coordinated event site negotiations, security, permitting, D.O.T. and budgets. It was a massive effort, involving intricate engineering and logistics coordination. When all was said and done, a L’Oreal executive proudly observed that they never looked better.
