Eight years ago, we set off on our very first “test” tour under the Aardvark name, owning just one piece of equipment and one very big idea.
We’d seen how the current piece-meal approach to mobile tour vendor support was working, or rather, not working. You’d get a stellar custom-built truck from one vendor, but logistics you couldn’t rely on from another, or vice versa. Hiring so many vendors was a gamble. We were there to end the game, and start a new one.
Enlisting our best and brightest marketers and heavy lifters, our team decided it was time to introduce an approach that united many talented, specialized vendors all under one roof, while maintaining the flexibility of hiring only what you needed. We set out to be the best mobile marketing department that any agency, large or small, could ask for.
What came next?
Like we do with all our tours, the Aardvark team hit the ground running. Needless to say, that test tour was a hit, and we earned our first official customer. We were thrilled to back up the agency working for America’s most-recognizable brand, Coca Cola, during their participation as a presenting sponsor in the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.
In less than a year, Aardvark produced over $1 million in sales.
And that was just the beginning…
Thousands of mobile tours later, we now know more than we ever have and continue to learn new tactics as we break out into new markets every day. We’ve handled every aspect of a mobile tour and have worked with every size customer, too.
